Davida M. Harris - is currently a professor at Savannah State University and an Adjunct Instructor at South University. She has over 13 years of educational instruction at the collegiate level. She is a former instructor at Ogeechee Technical College in Funeral Services Education. She is a Licensed Funeral Director and Licensed Practicing Trade Embalmer in the State of Georgia and New Mexico. She earned a Master of Arts Degree in Sociology from University of Akron, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Johnson C. Smith University, and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Funeral Services Education from Ogeechee Technical College. She is the Funeral Director in Full and Continuous Charge (FDFCC) at Nathaniel Thomas and Son Funeral Home. Currently, Funeral Director and Embalmer at James R. Barnes Mortuary Managing Director at LaGrone Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
