Shanna Jackson Sheats, Restorative Art Instructor, has been a Georgia Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1999. Mrs. Sheats obtained a BA in Business Administration and an MBA from Piedmont College, an AS degree in Funeral Service from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science and a Master’s in Pharmaceutical and Forensic Science from The University of Florida. Mrs. Sheats currently works at Jackson-McWhorter Funeral Home in Athens, GA. She is a member of Georgia Funeral Service Practitioners Association Inc., The National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, Inc., several Boards and Charities in the Athens, GA area, The Links Incorporated and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Mrs. Sheats spends her leisure time viewing the news, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Chris, and sons, Jackson and Chaz.
