Bursar

Larisa was born in the Virgin Islands and grew up in Miami, FL. After completing high school, she attended the University of Florida and graduated with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration. After completing her degree, she moved her family to Atlanta, GA. 

After moving to Atlanta, she has worked in the banking sector in multiple positions for more than ten years. She then moved to working in the non-profit sector. She has worked as an Office Manager for a day program for adults with developmental disabilities for seven years. She has also worked in the roles of Fiscal Consultant, Fiscal Manager, and Fiscal Account Specialist for multiple Community Action Agencies. During this time, Larisa returned to school and received a Master’s degree in Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Leadership and Life Coach from Grand Canyon University. She also received a certificate of Accounting from E-Cornell University.

Larisa has four adult children, and three grandchildren. In her spare time, she is active at her church and enjoys traveling with her family, shopping, and reading.
